everyone knows the iconic Budweiser Clydesdale and the excitement of seeing them on opening day but there is another animal with a very important job that rides on top of the hitch the Budweiser Dalmatian so traditionally Dalmatians were used in conjunction with deliveries so that while the delivery drivers were in doing business with the tavern owners and such they were actually guarding the cargo outside the Budweiser Dalmatians began their friendship with the Clydesdales back in 1950 while celebrating the

groundbreaking of the new brewery and have been travelling together ever since typically we only travel with one Dalmatian and his name’s Klein but we have got a little youngster coming on meet bud the newest companion and team member to the Budweiser Clydesdales but is doing very well he collide is teaching him very well and the horses actually enjoy the dogs and surprisingly the horses they play with the puppies a little bit donations and Clydesdales have formed a unique bond over the years they also both share a

deep friendship with their handlers not only do the horses get a bath but but here he gets back to the Dalmatians will actually always keep the horses in sight while we’re loading the horses into the truck actually to go to Busch Stadium the dogs will hop in the trucks and already be waiting for us you’re gonna go cheer the Cardinals on aren’t you next opening day see if you can spot the Budweiser Dalmatian or Cardinals insider I’m Emily Stevens
